Hutchinson Group Covid 19 Risk Assessment
In response the Covid 19 outbreak Hutchinson Transport and Hutchinson Technical Services have had to take steps to ensure that we are operating safely in this time of concern, reducing the risk of transmission of disease to and from our employees and visitors. As with everyone in this time we are constantly learning, monitoring and adapting our strategy our initial risk assessment is as follows:

We also have taken further steps both on site and with our driving staff to ensure the safety of our employees and those around them. Some of the steps people visiting our sites or accepting our Driving staff and technicians onto their sites need to be aware of as follows:
We ask that any visitors please take maximum attention and make a best effort to follow all signage and instructions displayed in our depots. Should any visitors no show their full cooperation with the above steps you will be asked to leave site.
- We are operating a strict 2M social distancing rule, if for any reason this must be reduced then masks must be worn by all involved
- Close entrance spaces on our sites are operating 1 in 1 out systems, any where that is doing so now is showing signage to make clear to visitors when this system is in place.
- Visitors will be asked to fill in a questionnaire and leave their contact details for track and trace purposes. Your temperature could also be taken should you be required to stay on site.
- Cleaning of onsite facilities have been increased dramatically to reduce any touch surface transmission of disease.
- Hand sanitizing facilities are available in all of our depots, if you are unsure of your nearest than please ask your on site contact.
- We are reducing the number of visitors we have on site, only essential access to our depots will be granted, where possible video conferencing meetings will be held etc.
- We are making an effort to reduce the cross handling of non essential paperwork for deliveries etc. Please only pass any essential documents to our staff on arrival to site.
We ask that any visitors please take maximum attention and make a best effort to follow all signage and instructions displayed in our depots. Should any visitors no show their full cooperation with the above steps you will be asked to leave site.
